Dear Community Members

Salaam Alaykum

In a few days time, we will have the opportunity to exercise our vote to decide the direction of this community. We have reached a historic crossroad and with these elections we will together decide the future.

With your vote, I wish to connect our global community. I see that our numbers are so few, our distances so large and our challenges are so many. We must work hard to maintain our identity and to strengthen our spirituality. Above all, we must recognise that as a people we must stand together and our institutions must work to unite us.

My team and I would love to bring The World Federation to you, to make a positive difference in all of our lives and to help you and your family, in which ever corner of the world you may live in. I want to focus on increasing the communication from our global body. I want to concentrate on building closer bonds with the regional federations and jamaats; and I want to develop our community spiritually, economically and educationally.

I truly feel, that with the grace of Allah (SWT), I have the determination, the drive and the dedication to serve our global community. In my manifesto, I have outlined 99 pledges that I feel are of crucial importance to the future of our community.

InshAllah, in me you will find the sincerity and the passion to deliver the 99 pledges of the manifesto. I will strive to develop housing for our seniors and promote higher education amongst our young. We will form a foundation fund and conduct a worldwide census.

Above all, I promise you that I will serve with simplicity, transparency and humility. I humbly request your support so that together, we can continue serving for His pleasure alone.

In the upcoming nights of this Holy Month, and especially during the nights of Qadr, let us pray for the prosperity and progress of our community. May Allah (SWT) shower his choicest blessings on us all of us and grant our community success in this world and in the hereafter. May he hasten the re-appearance of our awaited leader, Imam Al Mahdi (A.S.), Ameen.
