The residents of the planet Earth will receive divine blessings as long as they love each other, act righteously and honour what they are entrusted with
Transparency and accountability are essential to the progress of our community. We must hold our hands up when we make mistakes and honestly communicate our successes and failures. We must justify our decisions so that our community members can gain greater confidence in our organisations.
This is crucial if we are to engage every single household. We need to have the courage to say what works and what does not, what has been done and what has yet to be achieved. We need to exchange ideas with all our community members, especially those that have different views or who do not agree with our ideas and policies.
By 2012 I pledge to ...
- • Increase the accountability of the organisation by:
- - Accounting for our administrative costs and reporting on their utilization.
- - Producing an annual report directly addressing the points made in this manifesto and of the various Secretariat departments.
- - Making it clear which goals have and have not been achieved.
- - Creating a roadmap of how to achieve those points which have yet to be fulfilled.
- • Ensure our projects are tested for their success by:
- - Evaluating each project using both quantitative and qualitative methods.
- Assessing their impact (positive and negative) upon the beneficiaries and identifying room for improvement.
- - Evaluating each project using both quantitative and qualitative methods.
