And from among you there should be a party who invite to good and enjoin what is right and forbid the wrong, and these it is that shall be successful

We are fortunate to be Shia Ithna-Asheri Muslims. However, we face challenges about our faith from all areas on a daily basis. In order to help strengthen the Imaan of our community, we must work to nurture Alims who are more knowledgeable and approachable.
We need Zakireen who are more aware of the issues facing us, and have the right skills to convey information.

By 2012 I pledge to...

• • Set up a Council of Ulema to provide guidance. This will made up of scholars from all regions and sections of our community.

• • Open an office in Najaf in order to strengthen our relations with the Marajae and Ulema.
•    
• • Create a fully fledged multimedia publishing house to publish Islamic books and resources.
•    
• • Strengthen and develop the Islamic Institute for Postgraduate Study in Syria
•    
• • Support students in Qom through Shahriyya and housing.
•    
• • Build a stronger inter-regional Aalim and Zakir network.
